What is adaptive practical shooting

Practical shooting is a dynamic sport: the athlete moves through a stage with targets and is scored on both speed and accuracy.

In the adaptive format, positions, movement and equipment are adjusted to each participant — shooting from a wheelchair, with a prosthesis or from a rest.

The rules, safety standards and refereeing remain those of the federation. The challenge is real — and so is the result.
